Ahead of the release of their Fever LP this Friday January 25th, Balthazar have unveiled yet another steely track from the album - ‘Wrong Vibration’. It’s a swaggering track that’s another show of Maarten Devoldere and Jinte Deprez’ dynamic partnership. Whilst not the most lyrically complex of Balthazar's songs, ‘Wrong Vibration’ directly communicates with the intended listener, encouraging them to loosen up - “girl, why don’t you give yourself a break? / And find out your favourite mistake?” It’s hard not to feel at ease listening to the smooth, indulgent grooves and glycerine vocals of this nocturnal number. - Hannah Thacker (Photo credit: Athos Burez)
